Jessica Hartsell is a CAWL research technician who works exclusively on drylands research in cooperation with the U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Southwest Biological Science Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Her work is largely focused on the effects of increasing aridity on upland plant communities, pinyon-juniper management, and tree physiological responses to drought. Jessica provides botanical and statistical support to USGS research scientists on a range of projects.
